Japan IPL Philippines

I am a fan of   smooth white underarms .
While strolling around SM North Edsa,  I  saw Japan IPL Express.

Since, I love anything Japan, I went in.
They offer different services and one of them is of course IPL for Hair Removal.

Below is from their site :

They are giving 10 shots free for first time customers. Per shot price of IPL is P48.00  .
Since it is free I signed up. No, you don't have to get  a package.  You can just pay per visit.
They are using a machine that  came from Japan. It is a different machine from other IPL's  I have seen. According to the beauty consultant this was made according to the specification of the owner and they have branches in Singapore also.

The room is quite clean. I was asked to leave my shoes /sandals in the area designated for it . And there is a container for my bag also.

The  beauty consultant informed me that the machine can  remove underarm hair in 10 sessions. And the machine also helps remove chicken skin.

Procedure:

I was asked to remove my upper shift of course and use the body towel afterwards.
Normally they will clean the area if you use a deodorant.
But since I don't use deo, they first inspected my UA for hairs.
Then afterwards, they administered the IPL shots. No pain and no sting at all.
Afterwards  she applied a gel where the shots were done.
I was advised not to get the area wet  within 3-4 hours.

With laser treatments, I normally  let  run water where I have the treatment the next day already just to be safe.

Since I just got the treatment I will update this with my progress as far as lightening, lessening of chicken skin and removal of hair goes.

The branch I went to was located at lower ground floor SM Annex Cyberzone. Same level as ACE hardware .

Review: San San Age Defense Press Powder

San San Cosmetics   is a homegrown company in  the Philippines .
You can buy their products from HBC  which can be found in malls  .

I only started using the press powder and I like that it doesn't become cakey  throughout the day when I use it. It also does not any  disturbing scent. I love that it has SPF  among others.

Below is a quote from HBC website regarding this press powder:

" A finishing powder that sets makeup, reduces shine and minimizes the look of pores, creating a smooth, sheer finish.
Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Paraffinum Liquidum, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Lactate (AHA), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77499, CI 77492

I use this after i put my sunblock  day cream on  my face .
Yes I am happy that my oily face is now under control.
I bought this from  HBC at  P 159.00  .

Review: Body Expert Foot Cream

Hhhmm.. Before i  just use body lotion for my feet. But I've noticed that it is not enough. My feet would feel dry   especially the heel area even after a few minutes . So I decided to look for a foot cream which would nourish and moisturize my feet .
As I was browsing watsons , I saw  BodyExpert Foot Cream. Since it is on sale at  Php 79.oo only i bought it. It also says that it helps soften cracked heel. I've used Caronia foot lotion before  but it was small and did cut it for me as far as moisturizing goes.

This foot cream has bergamot, cucumber and milk extract among others.
How  I used it:
After i take a shower,  I just massage the cream  all over my feet.
The cream has a consistency like a lotion so it gets absorbed easily and my feet doesn't feel greasy.  I also feel the my feet is now softer.
It does smell like bergamot but just light.
Yes, I will buy it again from watsons since it is still on sale for this month.  My feet loves it.

Review: Bellic Peel and Glow Day Cream

I started being concerned about sunblock for a long time now and that is the reason why i've used bb creams .   Recently, i just wanted my skin to rest from bb creams. So I checked the stores for the most effective sunblock.
I stumbled upon  Bellic Glow and Peel Day Cream with SPF 30.  Bellic  is from the same company which produced Kojiesan - BEVI.

How I use it :
In the morning i wash my face with a gentle soap  ,I am using Dove beauty bar.
After that , i pat my face with face towel    and then i apply Bellic  Day Cream. I allow it to be absorbed by my skin first and this  doesn't take long .  I apply it even in the area under my eyes.  It does not have any strong scent that lingers after you've applied it. Afterwards, I use  press powder.   Then I am all set.

I am happy so far.  Why ?
It provides me the  coverage that I need which doesn't feel  heavy on my face.  My press powder also does not become cakey  all throughout the day even though I have pores that are a teeny weeny obvious if you are talking to me at a close distance. I have an oily face  so I just have to do some touch up every now and then  with press powder . My face  looks smooth all throughout the day and not oily. No breakouts . No itchy feeling.  At the end of the day, I did not see any discoloration in my face. So yes, I will be using this .

I tried using this with CC cream and press powder  also. No cakey effect yet. All good.
I also tried BB cream and press powder. No cakey effect. Good !
By the way , even if the name is peel and glow. This cream does not cause peeling.
I got this from watsons at P99 only.
I will try their night cream and toner also.
