Chair Socks from Daiso

I love dropping by Daiso when I am at the mall. 

I've been purchasing  chair socks from them for quite a while. It is only now that I was able to blog about it. 

The chair socks can be used for rounded or square kind of chair legs.  

I really hope that those who lived in condominiums would get this that way they don't make too much noise when dragging or moving their chairs about. 

They are available in different colors as well : Red, blue, brown, pink. There is also a multicolor for square chair legs.

My experience: I bought this primarily because of its scent. I need a scent that is calming. Shea butter and oatmeal has a very light nutty and milky scent for me. It is my go to lotion if my hands ever gets wet. I always always moisturize with St Ives afterwards. I mainly use this for my hands, and at times on my neck, my upper thighs , and feet. I have this near the kitchen where I can easily reach for it when my hands need pampering. Yes I will buy this again. Although it does not have any SPF . The price is still reasonable for a moisturizer I can use at the office or at home frequently.

Light enough for my nose. This gets absorbed easily by my skin. Skin feels smooth after it has been absorbed. I bought the small one , i forgot the price for this , I will update it when i get the price  . I will get the biggest one next time. I can see the scars are lightening with these lotion faster than other lotion I have used.  So I am investing on this lotion.

My take : Yes It makes this skin silky smooth. As far as whitening, I can see that it is whitening my skin . Although, not to a drastic degree. My goal is Korean skin white. I still haven’t gotten that yet. I have been using this only for a few days. I am happy so far. I use this after bathing during the day. I needed the SPF40 it has and the whitening as well. Glad it works. There are times when I get exposed to sun’s rays directly . And I get natural light in my house also during the daytime. So I use this during the daytime.

At first when you apply it, it might seem sticky, but as you massage it to your skin , it gets absorbed quite well and probably about 5 minutes the skin will be silky smooth to the touch. If you are inside an airconditioned room it gets absorbed faster. I love the light scent that lingers ,more on the milky with very light citrus kind of scent. Not that offensive to the nose. I am going to buy this again, of course. I got the large one since I use this a lot.

BN Extreme Whitening Soap

I bought this soap from their Sm North Cyberzone annex branch. I am satisfied with how it quickly whitened the acne and pimple scars on my face. Took just 2 days for me to see the result. My face is pimple free right now. As for acne, I notice that on my forehead there are only a few left. I did not sense any strong scent on the soap. No more acne and pimple scars on my face. If you are looking for a soap that works fast this is highly recommended. I got the small soap only because I wanted to test if I will have any allergic reaction. Glad I didn’t.

How I would use this on my face: I wash with dove soap twice (to be sure ) to remove dirt first on my face since I am using only sunblock and press powder nowadays. Then I use the BN extreme whitening soap. I lather the soap in my hand first . Then I cover my whole face with the lather. I massage it around my face ,avoiding the areas around my eyes ( upper eyelid and undereye ) , for about 10 seconds then I rinse it well. I use cold water already to rinse the soap. Afterwards, I use my moisturizer. I only use this at night. At daytime, I am using dove only.

How I use this on my body : I wash with Johnson Milk Soap so I can regularly scrub my body. Afterwards, I would use BN whitening soap all over my body directly, from my legs first all the way up. I am able to keep it on for 2 minutes then rinse it. After I pat myself dry I put on body lotion. I use this soap day and night.

Ingredients : Cocos nucifera, Aqua , Carica papaya, Rosehip, Glutathione, Kojic Acide, Arbutin , Preservative.

Directions printed on the box: Use while bathing day and night .Lather onto your body to reveal lighter and healthier looking skin then rinse well immediately. Gently Rub. Pat dry and apply moisturizer. For best results , use with BN Whitening Lotion.

Japan IPL Philippines

I am a fan of   smooth white underarms .
While strolling around SM North Edsa,  I  saw Japan IPL Express.

Since, I love anything Japan, I went in.
They offer different services and one of them is of course IPL for Hair Removal.

Since it is free I signed up. No, you don't have to get  a package.  You can just pay per visit.
They are using a machine that  came from Japan. It is a different machine from other IPL's  I have seen. According to the beauty consultant this was made according to the specification of the owner and they have branches in Singapore also.

The room is quite clean. I was asked to leave my shoes /sandals in the area designated for it . And there is a container for my bag also.

The  beauty consultant informed me that the machine can  remove underarm hair in 10 sessions. And the machine also helps remove chicken skin.

Procedure:

I was asked to remove my upper shift of course and use the body towel afterwards.
Normally they will clean the area if you use a deodorant.
But since I don't use deo, they first inspected my UA for hairs.
Then afterwards, they administered the IPL shots. No pain and no sting at all.
Afterwards  she applied a gel where the shots were done.
I was advised not to get the area wet  within 3-4 hours.


With laser treatments, I normally  let  run water where I have the treatment the next day already just to be safe.

Since I just got the treatment I will update this with my progress as far as lightening, lessening of chicken skin and removal of hair goes.

The branch I went to was located at lower ground floor SM Annex Cyberzone. Same level as ACE hardware .
